چکیده
Abstract Within the context of Industry 4.0 and new emerging 5.0, human factors are becoming increasingly important, especially in Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC). This paper provides a novel study focused on aspects involved industrial HRC by exploring effects various setting factors. In particular, this aims at investigating impact user experience, affective state, stress, assessed through both subjective measures (i.e., questionnaires) objective ones physiological signals). A collaborative assembly task was implemented with different configurations, which robot movement speed, distance between operator workspace, control execution time were varied. Forty-two participants provided feedbacks interaction quality their state. Participants’ responses electrodermal activity heart rate) also collected non-invasively to monitor amount stress generated interaction. Analysis revealed how configuration considered influence them. Robot speed resulted be most influential The results showed need for customization improve ergonomics, psychological physical, well-being operator.

Modelling User Experience in Human-Robot Interactions
In human-human interaction, the participants’ multimodal behaviour has impact on the interaction as a whole, and similarly in spoken human-robot interactive situations, the interlocutors’ multimodal signals seem to correlate with the user’s assessment of the interaction. We explored in more detail how some aspects of multimodal behaviour (gazing, facial expressions, body posture) can predict th...
متن کاملUser Experience in Human-Robot Interactions
This paper describes our experiments concerning human-robot interaction and its evaluation in order to measure the user’s communication experience with the robot. We assume that the user’s evaluation of the interaction reflects their participation in the interaction as a participant, and correlates with their own multimodal signaling as well as with their perception of the robot’s communicative...
متن کاملUser Experience in Social Human-Robot Interaction
Socially interactive robots are expected to have an increasing importance in human society. For social robots to provide long-term added value to people’s lives, it is of major importance to stress the need for positive user experience (UX) of such robots. The human-centered view emphasizes various aspects that emerge in the interaction between humans and robots. However, a positive UX does not...
متن کاملInvestigation of Human Emotional State in Human-Robot Collaboration
In order for humans and robots to interact in an effective and instinctive manner, robots must obtain information about the human emotional state in response to the robot’s actions. This is important as the presence of robot in human living environment has become tremendously increasing. Consequently, we believed that it is necessary to investigate how human feel about this situation and if rob...
